Miss Bess the Bunny

Description

Miss Bess is dressed in a purple wool blouse adorned with tiny beads. Her skirt is a purple and pink tiny floral pattern trimmed in white lace. I made her a little wool felt purse to take to the market to purchase her (wool) carrots for dinner. All of my needle felted creations have fabric/wool clothing and fabric/wool accessories that are hand made by me, in my home with my own two hands. She is approximately 4 inches to the top of her head. She does have a cute little white fluffy tail under her skirt : )

Needle felting is the art of taking wool batting and using very sharp barbed needles, creating a sculpted work of art. I start with a wire armature and carefully add the wool while using several different sized needles to create each piece. It takes thousands of jabs to bind the wool and create a one-of-a-kind 3D object. I use wool from Living Felt (in Texas) which is very high-quality wool.

Each one of my handmade, 3D felted sculptures take many hours to create. I do not hurry or rush my work because I want each one to be very special and collectable.

My creations are gently poseable. They all stand with ease using the tails or big feet to help balance them.

These are not made to order. You will receive the one in this listing.

I love to find tiny unusual props to add to some of my creations. I make their clothing using scraps of fabric and wool felt. I hand stitch all clothing. Their shoes or sandals are glued on or felted on. Most clothing is not removable.

Not made for children and not meant for active play. Not suitable for pet toys. Do not wash. Dust gently.
